ASTORIA, N.Y. — Keystone Electronics Corp. has introduced its antirock-design Sturdi-Mount male terminals for increased printed-circuit board mounting and retention strength. The design increases the force needed to deflect the terminal, which prevents mounting-leg breakage that can ultimately cause connection failure, the company said. The design also serves to keep terminals perpendicular to the printed-circuit board so that the relative position is maintained during, and permanently after, the wave-soldering process.
