BGA partitioning Correct BGA partitioning first takes into account uniformity of the partitioning, itself. This means evenly distributing power and ground pins on the four quadrants as much as possible. That's important to evenly route power and ground through the BGA geometry. Fan-outs should also be evenly distributed throughout the BGA periphery, as well to create even routing across the PCB. Fig. 2 shows proper BGA partitioning where multiple power and ground pins are re-configured for perfect routing.

In this mode, in addition to the cycle accuracy capability, the whole Memory Sub-System (MSS) is modeled and the entire system can be simulated together. This enables accurate simulation of the software behavior as it interacts with the hardware. Since this mode includes all the MSS modules, all the memory hierarchy can be debugged, including the cache memory, write buffer, and internal and external memories. Different memory placement scenarios can be analyzed in simulation to observe the memory accesses and conflicts during the execution of the algorithms in each scenario.
